B2B Business Development Manager - IC Role
Zolo is seeking a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager to help reach out to educational institutes - colleges & universities.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
a) Scouting new leads
b) Converting leads via consultative pitching.
- You will also be expected to farm the already converted leads from time to time.
- As a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager, you will scout & identify sales opportunities in the region assigned to. You will be responsible for scouting leads, undertaking consultative selling and will be expected to onboard accounts/colleges.
- This role will work directly within the Zolo Scholar / Student Housing vertical and reports to the Head of Business Development at Zolo.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Generate and drive sales from the assigned territory; build short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
- Build relations across the hierarchy and conduct regular meets to communicate about products and drive sales.
- Become an expert in Zolo Scholar's product features and to best understand and serve our customers and prospects.
- Work with the Product & Marketing team to develop product features & sales collaterals based on identi- ed trends and customer needs.
