Zolo is seeking a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager to help reach out to educational institutes - colleges & universities. . In this role, you will be responsible for (a) Scouting new leads (b) Converting leads via consultative pitching. You will also be expected to farm the already converted leads from time to time. As a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager, you will scout & identify sales opportunities in the region assigned to. You will be responsible for scouting leads, undertaking consultative selling and will be expected to onboard accounts/colleges. This role will work directly within the Zolo Scholar / Student Housing vertical and reports to the Head of Business Development at Zolo. Duties and Responsibilities : - Generate and drive sales from the assigned territory; build short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets. - Build relations across the hierarchy and conduct regular meets to communicate about products and drive sales. - Become an expert in Zolo Scholar's product features and to best understand and serve our customers and prospects. - Work with the Product & Marketing team to develop product features & sales collaterals based on identi- ed trends and customer needs.
