We at Zolo are looking for a Senior Operations Manager in Kota who can perform end-to-end operations management for Zolo long stay accommodations. The ideal candidate comes with 3-6 years of experience in core operations/general management roles. He/She has good problem solving and analytical abilities and can handle the chaos in a rapidly growing environment Who are we? Zolostays is India's fastest growing chain of co-living spaces. Founded by alumni of IIT, IIM, ISB, AIIMS, we are present in Bangalore, Pune, Kota, Delhi and Chennai and are soon expanding to multiple cities. We operate very similar to paying guest accommodations/service apartments/hostels but our accommodations come with all kinds of basic and luxury living amenities and a guarantee of the services. Some of the prominent features include fully furnished rooms, hygienic and healthy food, daily housekeeping, internet facilities, security etc backed completely by technology. We are currently at a team size of 250+ and are looking to expand the team further. What is the role? The main role of the Senior Operations Manager is to ensure the end to end operations for Zolo properties. The role encompasses: Revenue Generation - Maintaining 80-85% occupancy for properties in order to achieve the desired revenue numbers - Controlling cost for the properties - Planning and executing Sales and Marketing activities to meet occupancy targets - Complete Customer Management - Maintaining a high Customer Satisfaction Score for the properties - Complete People Management - Managing the cluster managers, sales and marketing folks, multi-skilled workers and making sure that collectively the team meets their targets - Supervising Blue-collar staff and monitoring their daily tasks as per the set standards How could you qualify for the role? Prior Operations Experience - We are looking for young and energetic folks who come with 3-6 years of experience in general management/consulting/operations roles. People from the Consulting/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehousing/Plant Operations background would be given strong preference. People Management Experience - The person should have a prior experience of dealing with all kinds of people and should be able to get his work done under all circumstances. Other Must-haves? Educational Background: Engineers and MBAs from top tier institutes would be preferred; Excellent academic credentials is a must. Conveyance: Ability to ride and own a two-wheeler is a must Basic Computer Skills: Complete working knowledge of MS Excel is a must Languages: Complete Fluency in English and Hindi is a must.
