Zolo Stays - Public Relations Specialist

Role Overview :

Zolo is a customer obsessed, tech driven company that is redefining the way people live through its fully managed co-living spaces for millennials. Valued at more than $100 mn and founded by alumni of IIM, IIT, ISB in 2015, we have a singular goal of crafting a completely hassle-free long term living solution for our Zoloites. To help us succeed in this mission, we are looking for a PR Specialist who is experienced, smart and understands the unique needs of a growing organization such as ours.

About the Role / Responsibilities :

- Plan, strategize and create the PR plan and campaign outlay for Zolo keeping in mind the variety of external stakeholders as well as the outreach goals of the organization

- Be the single point person for all external communications, both managing and influencing it

- Work in a dynamic environment, measuring, maintaining and improving the quality of our outreach. One must have the ability to work on tight deadlines and handle multiple campaigns simultaneously, being completely hands-on when required.

- Manage any PR crisis situation

- Develop social media timelines for new product releases as well as manage influencer partnerships

- Liaise with PR agencies, writing press releases and working with the PR agency for distribution

- Organise events such as press conferences, media brunches, open days, press tours

Desired Experience / Background:

- Prior experience in handling public relations, both on an agency and on a brand side.

- Experience in running PR campaigns, writing press releases, as well as event planning and implementation.

- Experience with e-commerce, media or consumer brands would be an advantage.

- Educational Background: Bachelors/PG degree in Mass Communication/Journalism and 3+ years of experience working in the related field.

Desired competencies:

- Languages : Complete command over English is a must. Knowledge of regional languages is a great plus.

- Strong research and presentation skills

- Good command over Branding & Content Management
