We are looking for an ambitious Manager-Legal to lead the complete legal vertical at Zolo. Our ideal candidate comes with 5+ years of handling legal affairs in the corporate sector. He/She would work closely with the senior management to understand legal requirements for the organization and translate the same into development with aggressive timelines. Job Responsibilities: - Drafting lease deeds and leave and license agreements for all Zolo partnerships across cities - Drafting / vetting / perusing / modifying various property documents such as Agreement of Sale, Conveyance Deed, Development Agreement, Leave & License, Lease Deed, Letter of Intent, Memorandum Of Understanding, Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Entry and Declaration Cum Confirmations, Indenture of Mortgage. - Preparing and filing government reports - Providing inputs and advising on various laws and regulations. Critical analysis of applicable change in law and consequent risk assessment and the impact thereof on Zolo's businesses - Revision of documents from time to time and getting it approved by Top Management - Attending to litigation matters and liaising with external lawyers/counsels as per requirements - Guiding managers on regulatory and compliance matters - Administering training workshops for legal issues - Analyzing legal issues relating to proposed products - Representing the corporation before administrative boards and court trials - Preparing lease deed draft, sending the filled in Lease Deed draft as per signed LOI leasing department, coordinating with the stakeholders on the legal clauses to be changed or edited Job Requirements: - Qualification & Experience: LLB Degree (5 years Integrated Course - Preferably top National Law Universities) - Prior Experience of 5+ years in Corporate firms / Startups, top-tier law firms would be mandatory; PQE experience of not less than two (2) years is preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with common web tools - Complete fluency in Hindi and English a must. Knowledge of regional languages a great plus - Real estate knowledge and experience is an added advantage. - Thorough knowledge of Property Law and Corporate Law - Possession of a valid license and a 2/4 wheeler is a definite plus - Strong communication skills and good command over Contract Law and Property Law and the ability to interface with people across all levels of the organization.
