Head of Operations - South We, at Zolo (www.zolostays.com), are looking for a Head of Operations for taking complete ownership of operations for Pune, Bangalore and Chennai and our future expansion in the Southern India. Our ideal candidate comes with 8-10 years of very strong operations experience in various sectors - retail,multi-site, logistics, supply chain, hotel etc. He/She is expected to achieve aggressive operational efficiencies and metrics and align closely with the overall P&L targets. The position would involve working very closely with the senior management team at Zolo - COO, CEO and other CXOs More about us: Zolo is a Nexus funded, pre-series B company which provides fully managed co-living spaces which are fun, flexible and functional. Our managed living solutions are looking to elevate the traditional paying guest accommodations/hostels, and offer beautiful living experience. We are now looking to increase our portfolio of products as well as tap into multiple cities in next few months. More about the role responsibilities: Needless to say, as Head of Operations - the person would be managing hard core operations of the cities under purview - defining and executing processes, driving efficiencies and achieving aggressive metrics. The ideal candidate should believe and adhere to the following: 1. Customer as God! - If you don't abide by this philosophy, then Zolo is not the right place for you. Obsessive customer focus is one of the things that we are really proud of. All process, SOPs,manuals ought to deliver the best possible experience to the customer and not the easiest possible way for the organization. 2. Process & Agility - If you are a person who breathes process and excellence, this might be interesting for you. Additionally, what this role would require is aggression and ability to implement processes in an agile, sometimes even chaotic environment 3. Numbers! Numbers! Numbers! - You would be responsible for key operating metrics of the organization - the heading is explanatory 4. Comfortable with Travel (Intra-city and Inter-city) - Given that our product has a heavy physical component - you would be expected to visit properties on regular basis and ensure that SOPs are getting implemented in word and spirit both More about the role requirements: 1. Strong Prior Operations Experience: - Candidates with 8-10 years of experience in multiple operational roles 2. Prior Consulting/PMO Experience: - Prior Consulting experience (at least 2 years)- preferably in the tier-I/big 4 consulting firms would be strongly preferred 3. Educational Background: Tier I Engineering/MBA institutes would be given strong preference 4. Complete fluency in English and Hindi is a must 5.
