About Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a high performing marketing & community engagement vertical, fostering a culture of growth and development at Zolo, own functions of Demand Generation, Content Strategy, Brand and Growth.
- Build a consumer-centric, lean, frugal and highly effective marketing function to build a differentiated B2C marketing road map on the platform through content and engagement led campaigns/programs.
- Lead offline and online ( later) Marketing programs, Consumer research, PR (Customer Testimonials) and co-marketing programs with Alliance/partner brands.
- Own Annual Marketing Strategy and execution with ROI Metrics in line with Organization goals.
- Know the user, Know the magic and Connect the two is what you would do to drive the community engagement vertical at Zolo to promote branding through community engagement events.
- Lead and drive the Brand Management team to build the Zolo's brand in line with the Brand Promise for customers, local communities and employees
- Conceptualize & execute the integrated marketing campaign to achieve the brand & business goals in the Rural markets.
- Define the Brand's digital identity and collaborate with Digital managers to create cutting edge digital programs.
- Drive integrated marketing plans for demand generation utilizing digital marketing, email marketing, offline events and promotions (ATL and BTL)
Desired Experience / Background:
- 6-8 years- experience in B2C Marketing (Digital+Brand Marketing experience)
- Demonstrated analytical skills in quantitative and qualitative consumer research methodology and outputs.
- Head of Marketing or VP Marketing, preferably at a B2C startup or a well-established E-commerce company
Desired competencies:
- Experience in crafting strategies for all Marketing channels, including Digital, Offline, Advertising, PR, Communications, and Creatives, amongst others
- Planning and driving different ATL, BTL and branding activities
- Strong data-driven marketing skills, with demonstrated ability to dive deep into customer data and translate findings into actionable customer insights and powerful marketing programs
- Thorough understanding of marketing models, communication and branding strategies and planning frameworks
