Role: City Head, Gurgaon Company - ZoloStays Property Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Role Overview: We, at Zolo (www.zolostays.com), are looking for a City Head for launching and expanding our City operations in Gurgaon. Our ideal candidate comes with 6-10 years of diverse experience in multiple domains. He/She is expected to understand business in entirety and align Operations, Sales, Business Development and Finance - all in a single direction with the overall goals of growth and profitability expansion for the City. He/She would work very closely with the senior management team at Zolo to accelerate regular as well as transformational initiatives for Zolo's operations in the city. About ZoloStays : Zolo is a Nexus funded, pre-series B company which provides fully managed co-living spaces which are fun, flexible and functional. We are currently present in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kota, and fast expanding to other geographies. Founded by alumni of IIMs, IITs, AIIMS, ISB, we are at a team size of 500+. Our managed co-living solutions are looking to elevate the traditional paying guest accommodations / hostels, and offer all kinds of basic and luxury living amenities with a promise of high quality. Some of the prominent features include fully furnished rooms, hygienic and healthy food, daily housekeeping, internet facilities, security and a vibrant community. We are now looking to aggressively expand our operations in existing as well as new markets. About the Role/Responsibilities : The role of the City Head would encompass the following : - Complete Operations Management: Overseeing end-to-end operations - demand side, supply side and property management, to ensure that annual PnL targets for the city are met - Setting up &amp; Executing Processes : Setting up the right processes and ensuring their execution to achieve the targets - Team Building &amp; Management: Developing the reporting team which can run on-ground execution expanding the current team, setting the performance metrics and driving efficiency - Analysis and Reporting: As an extension of process setting, a lot of focus would be expected on data recording, maintenance and analysis as most of the decisions would be data backed KPIs for the role would be the following : - Meeting complete PnL targets for the city - Ensuring the desired metrics around costs, profitability, customer satisfaction are achieved - Process adherence and timely reporting - Team building as per org requirements Desired Experience/Background : - Prior Experience: Candidates with 6-10 years of experience in Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics/General Management etc can apply - Prior Consulting/PMO Experience: Prior Consulting experience (at least 2 years) in the tier-I/Big 4 consulting firms would be strongly preferred - Educational Background: Tier I Engineering/MBA institutes would be given strong preference Desired competencies : - Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to work with spreadsheets - High degree of initiative and on-the-ground execution focus - Strong people management skills - Good program management skills - Languages: Complete command over English is a must and fluency in Hindi would be preferred Location &amp; Compensation : - Location: Gurgaon - Compensation: As per Market Standards - Cash + Equity
