Company Overview Zivame is a Women's fashion brand company which started in 2011 as online lingerie retailer featuring hundreds of styles for the Indian woman. We have also entered into other categories like Activewear, Sleepwear and Shapewear which is witnessing 2X growth of Lingerie category. Our mission is to be a Women's fashion brand which will help Women dress better by growing a category whose offline representation is underserved because of range and size availability issues, lack of consultation and social discomfort. We have roped in international design team to deliver fresh styles every month for the new age Indian women. About the role Position - Senior Category Manager - Own the business P&amp;L for selected brands and categories, Co-own the P&amp;L of all categories across all the sales channels including Online, retail stores, distribution and marketplace - Accountable for merchandising and sales strategy and new product introduction and expansion of product portfolio in your category - Work closely with the Design team in coming out with new product introduction, category strategy as well incorporating latest fashion trends in company portfolio - Own pricing strategy based on market potential, consumer insights, margins, competitive signals, etc. Drive necessary promotions - Build and fortify the business model: Go deep, understand where new category opportunities are and chase them. - Know the customer: Research customer behaviour, develop customer insights, know more about the customer than the customer - Sense the market: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities, etc. - Brands and Vendor network management &amp; operations - Ownership of category specific marketing activities - Deliverable include sub category-wise traffic, conversions, customer base &amp; revenues - Work with online &amp; offline marketing, category &amp; website teams to conceptualize and implement initiatives for category freshness - Building category level shopper understanding and gaining deeper insights - Identify the growth areas and new business scope within the existing category - Deliver on sales plan, gross margin plan, inventory refills and overall P&amp;L. Skills and Competencies: - P&amp;L Management, Growth Mind-set - Desire and ability to think like the customer - Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion - Willing to take risks to grow the category in a rapid pace - Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills - Strong understanding of technology and business - Ability to connect with people across teams &amp; levels Qualification &amp; Experience: - Should have done management degree from premier business schools - 3+ relevant years of work experience, in Sales/Merchandising with a leading Fashion Retailer or Ecommerce company or management consulting company.
