Job Description - HR Generalist Key Responsibilities: The HR Generalist role reports to and is the second-in-command to the Head - Human Resources role at Zivame. It is a key role handling a large gamut of HR responsibilities as detailed below. - Jack of all: Along with the Head - Human Resources role, this role manages and implements most HR processes: Policy Implementation, Performance Management processes, Rewards and Recognition, Talent Management processes, Employee Engagement, Internal Communications and other responsibilities. - Business Interface: The role interfaces directly with business functions and leaders to align with business priorities and plays a role in supporting those priorities with strategic and tactical interventions. - HR Operations: The role is the owner of HR Operations at the organization. Everything from the end of the Talent Acquisition cycle, managing the employee life-cycle from start to end and everything in between. This role is supported by external partners to manage payroll, payroll compliances, statutory compliances. - HR Data: This role is also the end-to-end owner of HR Data - right from personnel information, employee masters, compensation data, our HRIS system. The role is thus also responsible for managing the HR Audit and is the key interface for critical processes such as manpower planning, tracking metrics, MIS and reporting to senior management. Skills and Competencies: - Bias for Action: The role requires a high bias for action orientation and pace of execution to be able to create impact - Communication: This role demands on impactful communication (both written and spoken communication) with leaders, employees, partners, peers within HR and other stakeholders. - Ability to work with data: This role has a mandatory requirement of the incumbent being a person who is comfortable working with and presenting large amounts of data. This role enables the HR team to make decisions based on data, trends, analytics. - Comfortable in the grey: The role holder must be comfortable to operate in ambiguity and a fast-changing environment. Experience and Qualifications - The candidate must hold a full-time degree in Business; preferably with a major in Human Resources from an institution of repute. - Experience in HR Operations/ HR Generalist roles for at least 3-4 years in a small- to mid-sized organization - Should have independently managed HR Operations for at least 1 year - Knowledge about the latest in statutory/ payroll compliances - A sense of humor
