About the Role:

As a Finance Controller, to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. Financial Controller will aid our organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial management strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy. This will also include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Short term liquidity and long-term cash flow management

- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Engages the Board, Strategic Partners and appropriate committees around financial issues, trends and changes in the operating model.

- Validate variances and trends; contribute on new business opportunities, cost reduction efforts

- Develop, implement and maintain a system for measuring the financial and operating performance of the company, each department and the deviation from budgets, including sales, revenues and project, gross and net profit margins.

- Produce rolling budgets for review by Company management and the Board that reflect the impact of business and financial updates of the last quarter.

- Ensure all statutory compliances are in order on a regular basis and coordinate with legal/compliance team to achieve the same

- Project manage the closure of annual financial statements, including addressing audit queries and coordinating with tax and other consultants

- Organize preparation of dataroom by compiling relevant, accurate information on a timely basis, as well as address diligence queries while raising funds

- Oversee the development of tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to key stakeholders and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations

Qualifications

- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and accounting. Experience with fintech/Banks/ NBFCs is a plus.

- CA/CFA or MBA in Finance

- Experience in a senior financial management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies

- Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation

- Negotiation skills and commercial acumen

- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills
