About role:
- They are looking for a rockstar who wants to take on the Indian market headfirst, ready to carve a chunk out of a $100 billion dollar market and, in the long term, build successful private labels across categories.
- The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, cross-border logistics experience and sales and communications
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the sales team (8-10) to reach out to new buyers, setting and tracking sales KPIs.
- Managing the sales PnL for Electronics.
- Working on innovative methods for buyer acquisition.
- Managing buyer retention and satisfaction.
- Identifying new product categories to enter and developing go-to-market strategies.
- Liaising with the Procurement team to fulfill buyer sample and order requests.
- Establishing Zilingo private labels in the Indian market.
Does this sound like you?
Must haves:
- 4+ years experience into B2B regional /national sales/ business development from electronics and/or consumer durables industry
- Team handling experience
- Experience handling PnL
Preferred -
- Must have consistently met sales target and projected YoY/ QoQ/ MoM growth
- Managed remote teams across India
- Passionate about building brands, sales and processes
- Worked with a large importing house across product categories
- Experience of selling smaller brands, Eg. Micromax, Intex, or other electronics private labels like Croma, Reliance Digital
