About the Role : The person manages all direct and indirect tax compliance for ZestMoney and group companies including tax planning, periodical statutory compliance, tax litigation management and partnering with business as a tax advisor. Lead complex tax planning and due diligence, facilitating and guiding partners and vendors on their tax compliance, managing relations with tax departments and supporting statutory audits. Manage internal control over tax matters in line with internal control policy. Roles &amp; Responsibilities : - Strict adherence to the target dates for tax remittances. - Ensure no penal costs are incurred due to delay &amp; omissions. - Incharge of direct taxation including transfer pricing and international taxation, compliances, filings, assessments. - Provide support to team in tax matters while entering contracts with suppliers - To ensure timely filing of DT and IDT returns across all group entities - To ensure timely completion of assessments of IT/GST regime - To ensure timely completion of TDS and corporate tax assessments - To ensure timely replies to all notices from tax authorities - Ability and confidence to deal with senior tax officials directly - To advise various stakeholders and business partners on various business initiatives - Provide inputs to the management in optimisation of tax costs. Skills Required : - CA with minimum post qualification experience of 3 years - Expert knowledge of GST, direct tax laws, Finance &amp; Accounts - Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills - Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication and presentation skills - Ability to work under stringent deadlines - Seniority Level
