Implementation of Business Strategy : - Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures for the CIS(Cloud&Infra) business unit. Identify target markets and key solution differentiators. - Understand customer and market business drivers to help build and execute strategic plans, working closely with CIS Sales, Cloud Innovation, Solution Design and Delivery teams in support of their efforts to help create new offerings, align them to opportunities, and monetize them - Stay current on relevant technologies and the IT Industry to incorporate them into Cloud and Infrastructure solutions and evangelize those solutions. Visualize how technology and services can be applied to solve business problems and be sold profitably in consumptive - as a Service terms with business outcomes - Support CIS goals with comprehensive subtending goals for performance and growth and business excellence. Estimate the financial impact of current and future services and solution alternatives. - Drive analyses to support strategic decision making viz. revisiting our pricing strategy, analyzing business profitability at different growth rates, re-visiting location staffing models etc. Driving Business Excellence : - In collaboration with Corporate Marketing, design GTM strategies, marketing campaigns, Inside Sales performance. Monitor business parameters to determine success of marketing initiatives and support revision of strategies and plans. - Working with Marketing and Sales, develop and participate in sales training, tools and collateral development including product updates with business partners. - Establish policies that promote company culture and vision and help sales market in a - value generator- role. - Build a strong connect with Analysts and Advisors community in collaboration with Alliances and Marketing functions and drive building transformational relationships to enhance market awareness and contribute to revenue goals. - Design and develop exciting propositions for every solution created by the Solution Design Group. - Establish a CIS Business Excellence Office to oversee operations of the business unit (Sales, Practice, Delivery, Finance, HR etc.), with a focus on sales performance, meeting or exceeding booking objectives and overall revenue and return for CIS - Participate with senior management on pipeline activity, account planning and new product introduction reviews. Review and critique business plans, investment justifications and target market justifications for new solutions - Establish an effective Offshore Account Management function which would track SLAs basis contractual agreements: resourcing, delivery, payment schedules etc. Would provide this service to the Top 15 accounts of the BU. Participate in reviews of Account Operating plans and help in updating them. - Track revenue realization, establish financial dashboards to track performance levels at all levels of the BU: overall, by account, by technology tracks. Lead cross functional team to address financial stressors and non-performing metrics. - Provide process definition and improvement to drive operational efficiency and - return on BU investments. Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics and generating reports - Once an opportunity has been qualified, collaborate effectively with sales, practice, and supporting organizations (finance, HR) to drive / manage the sales lifecycle process to win - Direct and participate in activities related to vendor/partner management to further build CIS Center or Excellence roadmap, services catalog and related service competencies, capabilities and competitiveness - Assist CIS BU Head in various ventures, write and submit reports in all matters of importance, participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, alliances etc.)
