Head SEO : The Zee5 India Leadership team is looking to add an experienced, analytical and results-driven business leader to help scale the SEO capabilities efficiently by building best in class teams, processes, and tools. The incumbent will be a key contributor to the growth of both SVOD, AVOD, and News verticals in Zee5 and will manage a team of fast-moving and result oriented professionals. This individual will own the organic SEO growth agenda for the organization with key deliverables on increasing subscriptions, users, and viewers. The incumbent should be an experienced SEO professional and will have a responsibility to design, implement and drive SEO initiatives across product, tech, and Marketing Analytics teams. You should have proven thought leadership and success in driving best in class scale on SEO is driven organic growth, in the B2C sector. You should be comfortable working with complex challenges, and understand the value of the rapid test and learn approaches. The role's responsibilities include : - Identifying and implementing strategies for increasing site traffic through organic search listings. - Responsible for the creation of information architecture of the website and SEO future-proofing. - Researching and resolving HTML code and content, link architecture, and navigation issues - Generate Product Requirements Documents and wireframes for SEO product enhancements on our websites. - Continually monitoring organic search rankings to increase traffic and sales - Analyzing website strategies and translating qualitative data into recommendations and tactics for revising the strategies - Report on the overall SEO health of our web properties and rolling up SEO reports in a meaningful way - Researching keywords using tools. - Maintain Blog and Forum which should be regularly updated. - Troubleshoot SEO problems &amp; propose resolutions for SEO implementation Issues on the website. - Stay on top of current search engine news, trends, SEO practices, and emerging items of interest - Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming for our websites. - Work on decoding Search engine Algorithm through small/controlled/measurable experiments. - Co-ordinate between Tech. / Dev. team, UI - Website Design, Content, Product, and QA teams and make sure to have a handshake between these departments - Help the team to look beyond traditional SEO and deliver high-quality output to take SEO to next level - Lead a team and mentor them in the ways of organic search tactics &amp; advice on best SEO practices - Support the Collaborating LOB by taking ownership of the project undertaken The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership/commitment, have proven leadership experience in managing projects, and bring relevant insights in technology. Customer obsession is a must. Education and experience : - MBA/ BE from a good institution - 8-10 years of experience in SEO experience in consumer internet/ eCommerce or online Media. - Exposure to the business outcome as quantified business objectives - Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation - Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results - Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills - Experience in leading teams and people management required
