Job Description : Sales Lead

Primary Location : Mumbai

Position Summary :

- The Sales Lead is responsible for planning and managing sales and business development within the Indian market for Zaya's blended learning model.

- Zaya (www.zaya.in) is a venture-backed, award-winning social enterprise based in India. Zaya implements scalable, affordable technology to increase access to high quality education and to bridge the achievement gap for students in low-income schools.

Responsibilities :

- Selling Zaya products by creating and implementing sales plans and supervising sales staff.

- Establishing sales objectives by forecasting periodical sales quotas by region. projecting expected sales and product volume.

- Working to build sales pipeline and increase forecast accuracy and integrity of pipeline.

- Developing selling strategies for direct and indirect sales to education providers.

- Accurately preparing of proposals, handling detailed paperwork.

- Manage sales team.

- Assist with ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting as needed.

What you need for this position :

- Hunter mentality, assertiveness, empathy.

- Graduate from one of the top colleges in India.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills (written and verbal).

- Experience in leading and managing teams.

- Experience in working with schools or other franchise operational models.

- Affinity with technology and technical/Internet proficiency.

- Minimum 6 years sales experience in a related field.
