Key responsibilities
- Work with farmers, local vendors in NCR and other markets to source chicken, mutton, seafood category
- Develop and drive procurement plans and make decisions necessary to purchase products & services from Meat Vendors and Mandis
- Standard cost model adherence and continues to evolve it
- Conducting regular business reviews and managing P&L of his/her category.
- Vendor Management - identify parameters and device method to implement it and improvise on it.
- Implement vendor contracts and constantly review them
Job Requirements:-
- Understanding of Meat Industry is must and should have past experience in handling the supplier network and getting right vendors to be on-boarded
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data and should be inclined towards Data Analytics.
- Good leadership skills with structured thinking, having previous experience in handling teams.
- Fast learning, networking and researching skills, high energy levels, ability to meet defined targets, sound understanding of business principles.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.
- Proficient at Microsoft Office
