Responsibilities and Duties - Yulu is looking for a Learning and Development Manager who is passionate about building a culture of micro-mobility, i.e. one-person commute using NMVs in India. You will be responsible for setting up The Yulu Training Center in Bangalore and managing it where new largely unskilled employees will be onboarded, trained in terms of hard and soft skills to effectively execute the on-ground operations. The objective is to create a regular flow of skilled/semi-skilled workforce to meet the requirements of exponentially expanding fleet and operations across several cities. - You will be measured on the quality of training imparted (quality of execution from trainees), flexibility/versatility of deployment of trainees across various operational activities, motivation levels and retention rate of the workforce, setting up of standard procedures (SOPs), their adherence, ability of the center to swiftly accommodate the evolving needs of the business and last but not the least; the speed of setting up the training center. In short, this will be your dream job where you will be responsible for making eco-friendly ways of commute a way of life in India to fulfill the overall Yulu Vision. Qualifications and Skills : - Minimum 2 years of experience leading the learning and development function for training field staff. Understanding of logistics and fleet management is a good to have. - Exceptional people management and leadership skills - A go-getter with great organizational abilities and an execution-oriented mindset who can set up greenfield operations and establish best practices - Be a self-starter who thrives in a rapidly growing organization. Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and scope and priorities. - Experience in e-mobility industry is preferred - Entrepreneurial and data-driven decision-making approach - Human resource management related qualifications are preferred - Passion for mobility, urban planning, and sustainable living - Great communication and interpersonal skills - Understanding with smartphone technology and vendor management
