Compliance Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Compliance Subject Matter Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will be responsible for ensuring that our operations and business processes are in full compliance with all laws, regulations, and standards applicable to our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive compliance program that ensures our operations adhere to legal standards and internal policies.

- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution.

- Work with product / business and engineering teams to build a

- Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries or investigations.

- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on compliance activities and findings for senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is preferred.

- 4-7 years of proven experience in a compliance role, with a strong preference for expertise in finance domain

- In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.

- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex legal documents.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and influence others on compliance matters.

- Proficiency in compliance management software and applications.
