YES Securities - Lead/Analyst - Institutional Equities - IT Sector

Role Description:

- The individual will be part of the Equity Research team.

- In depth understanding of Information Technology sector, macro & microeconomics data. Should understand all companies falling under the said sectors. Should be well verse with trends in the industry, key players and their competitive strategies and strengths

- Monitoring news and events, track and analyzing regulatory changes and their impact on the sector

- Strong writing skills with the ability to lay out investment arguments and thesis lucidly.

- Understand sector dynamics and prepare detailed Financial and valuation model with ability to understand and formulate business drivers (revenue, cost, etc.) of the companies under coverage.

- Estimate future income statement for the company based on its current performance

- Undertaking primary research to structure and create differentiated strategy and thematic research report

- Conduct Road shows for companies under coverage of domestic and offshore clients

- Should have votes from prominent clients like Nippon MF, ICICI Pru MF, Axis MF, Kotak MF, HDFC MF, Mirae MF, Birla MF, DSP MF, Franklin Templeton, etc.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

1. Keeping track of news flow in the coverage companies

2. Conduct ground checks, market analysis to assess prevalent financial and economic environment, identifying business risk and their impact on the company valuation and stock fair value

3. Make presentations to the Client, fund house investment philosophy, market outlook, sector positioning, stock selection rationale, performance update, competitive positioning, etc.

4. Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of recommendation, background and breaking information on covered companies to the Sales team/ Research.

5. Manage meetings with covered companies and Investors and organize Roadshows.

Specialist functional Exposure: Equity Research

Certification: NISM Certification mandatory

Specific Sector Experience required: Information Technology

Work experience: 10-15 years
