POSTING FOR - PRODUCT MANAGER / BUYER FOR CONSUMER ELECTRONICS

Location: - Delhi

JOB DESCRIPTION:

PROCUREMENT

Buyer will be responsible for vendor/supplier relationship, understanding and developing supply chain strategies.

Research about products including the prices and markets from where to buy, and perform supplier evaluations and selections.

Coordinate with suppliers for the product finalization in line with the vision of the company

Price negotiation and make purchase orders.

Gather contents like product images and videos from the suppliers.

Get the Commercial Invoices and technical write up/catalog of all the products from the supplier.

Meet all statutory and legal compliance requirements for procurement

Competition mapping to be done on quarterly basis and present during management review

Do all the necessary formalities for the remittance

IMPORTS

Knowledge of all import documents and carry on all import related processes like gathering necessary documents from the suppliers, forward the same to Agents for booking shipments, following up with suppliers, etc.

Coordinate with respective agents like forwarders and/or Courier Companies, for the pickup of respective shipments from the suppliers- premises.

Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of products to the warehouse

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

Submit all the required docs like Commercial Invoice, packing list, Gatt Declaration, Cha Authority letter, technical write-up to the CHA.

Follow up with agent and CHA w.r.t AWB, Freight Certificate, Import check-list, etc

Review the checklist and duty calculations and make arrangements (like NEFT) to transfer the duty amount to CHA for further processing to clear the shipment.

Get final confirmation from CHA on shipment clearance status and bring the shipment to the Warehouse.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must be proficient in English and must be able to handle all written and verbal communications effectively

Must be emailed savvy and familiar with various social messaging apps.

Good knowledge of bank related and import related formalities, customs clearance and duty structure.

Excellent negotiation skills to be able to comfortably talk about product prices with the suppliers and achieve mutual agreements and manage cost to help drive profitability.

Ability to build and develop great suppliers relationship

Must be an individual performer and a team player with a go-getter attitude

Only candidates having experience and knowledge in consumer electronics will be preferred.
