Position: Sales & Business Development Head

Who are We?

YelloSKYE is an Aerial Intelligence Company that delivers "Ground Truth to the Desktop". YelloSKYE is digitising the construction life cycle of real estate and infrastructure assets and delivers analytics for the construction industry.

What do we do?

YelloSKYE capture's data primarily with drones and other sensors. It layers on value by using custom built algorithms, machine learning and graphic processing software on a combination of its own state of the art cloud computing platform and a partner Third Party platform.

We deliver 2D & 3D digital models, high resolution aerial views and other valuable information of our client's assets. In addition we also create World Class Videos, Virtual Tours and other Aerial Intelligence. The solution enables customers to gather incredible insights for monitoring construction, the quality assurance levels of the asset, error identification, measuring and comparing critical points, adherence to safety protocols and many more value adds. Not only this, customers can download data in industry standard formats which can be used in AutoCAD and other BIM Software to integrate into their internal workflows.

YelloSKYE,founded by Kiran Shah and Kush Agarwal, who bring in 50+ years of combined experience from the Investment Banking, Aviation and Technology sectors YelloSKYE, are in the final stages of closing its first round of seed funding.

- Drive the top line growth for the organisation and fuel the organisation growth .

- Establish and drive the sales engine, powered by the sales team.

- Reduce Sales dependencies on the Founders, build the sales function.

- Nurture the relationships with existing clients and drive retention

- Operationalise the revenue recognition machinery.

Role : Sales and Business Development Head (VP)

Base Location : Pune or Bangalore

Career Stage : Managing others

CTC on Offer : INR 22-28 lakh per annum + Revenue Bonus + ESOPs-

Reporting to : Founders

Functional: What all you must have and what it would take to succeed in this role

Market Mapping:

- Identify new market opportunities, taking the lead on constructing a robust and successful business proposal that secure new deals, contracts and long term relationships.

- Monitor industry legislative developments, develop and implement strategic changes in order to maintain compliance and maximise business performance.

- Competition analysis and tracking

- Mapping of new client requirements, acquisition of clients and suppliers to ensure coverage across designated territory/vertical

Market Development:

- Building strategic partnerships

- Manage the entire direct sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.

- Build high quality sales pipeline

- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives

Voice of Customer:

- Understand the requirements of the customers, new and existing

- Work with the engineering/product team on product enhancements.

- Sales Operations & Sales Capability Building:

- Building team from scratch, hire the sale team

- Train them

Customer Experience and Onboarding:

- On-boarding of new clients and client servicing

- Handling of the entire process from lead management, sales and business development to timely collections

- Revenue Realisation:

- Create, develop and exploit commercial opportunities to increase YelloSKYE's income through existing and potential new clients by targeting, initiating and developing long term business relationships.

- Establishing a process to ensure revenue realisation with the existing clients

- Experience & skills that will help you succeed in the role

- The candidate should have 10 - 15 years of experience in Direct B2B Enterprise Sales (Product / SaaS based), Consulting Sales, Experience in serving Real Estate and / or Enterprise Software Sales would be an advantage

- Experience in networking & selling to C-Level

- A hustler who knows how to build a team from 0 to 1 and scale it further from 1-10

- Understanding of technology led solutions in the SaaS space.

- Excellent communication & storytelling skills

- A solution oriented approach & growth led mindset will help in performing this role. Skills:- SaaS, Sales, Enterprise Sales and Proptech

- MBA with an Engineering degree would be preferred.
