Duties and Responsibilities  Key objective:  - The incumbent will be responsible for strategic print planning and readying the supplier base for future volume growth. Create the Supply Planning process and manage the business cycle through Project Management.   - Strategic initiatives involving identification of global vendors, cost management and risk management exercise  - Evaluate new suppliers and technology and seek early-mover advantages  - Create, finalize and manage vendor contracts  - Build and manage capacity plans with vendors and ensure availability of capacity as per requirement  - Process improvements at vendor  - Work with demand planning group to plan for the supplies from the vendors  - Set up the Supply Planning process by closely working with the Content team.  - Using Project Management to monitor and manage product launches.  - Streamline vendor payment process  - Build Quality Check criterion with the vendors and ensure adherence to quality  Personal Specification  Qualification & Experience  - 30 - 32 years of age, MBA from a good Top 20 business school with 5 years post MBA   - Experience from Print & Publishing industry is a must  - High on tenacity and does not give up easily, especially when big organization comfort is missing  - Able to work with other functions, resolve conflicts.  - Transparent in communication. Can assert point of view openly and fight for ideas.  - Ready to travel  Skills  - Strong decision making and problem solving skills.   - Resilient, good under pressure and manage stressful environment.  - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
