Some of these products have already been launched in India, like- Power Banks, Mi bands, Air purifier, router etc. The details can be found here www.mi.com Responsibilities : - Identify sourcing opportunities in India - Raw Materials and Finished products; Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and supplier. - Help establish India supply chain for products currently sourced from China - Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies - Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes - Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure - Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking - Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques - Managed the on-boarding processes for new suppliers and maintained relationships with existing suppliers - Follow industry professionals and organizations to maintain an awareness of best practices. - Ensure that all practices are consistent with industry guidelines and regulations. Requirements: - Work experience as a sourcing manager or procurement manager - Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software - Project management and leadership skills - Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
