Profile Summary

- The person will be part of the Distribution Team and will be responsible for the operational hygiene of his/ her respective region - North, South, East or West.

- North: Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand.

- South: Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.

- The profile is of an individual contributor. The primary role of the person would be to gather market intelligence on key channel hygiene parameters like infiltration, whole selling, pricing and/ or any other market activity which may impact the sales, distribution or brand image of Xiaomi.

The person will need to:

- Travel extensively across his/ her region (20 days in a month);

- Conduct critical audits at distributor point, retail outlets and designated whole sale markets; and Submit his/ her findings in a detailed report along with all relevant information & proofs.

Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a strong market network to keep tab of key channel hygiene parameters

- Monitor local operations of the region to ensure hygiene standards are maintained

- Travel extensively to each key markets of his/ her region and check the hygiene standards

- Conduct audits at distribution and retail points

- Conduct audits in key markets to understand and mitigate infiltration in the region

- Conduct audits to ensure that none of Xiaomi's partners are involved in any kind of whole selling activities

- Conduct audits to understand the market pricing with respect to suggested retail price

- Conduct routine audits at distributor points with respect to usage and hygiene of DMS, stock availability, infrastructure and any other routine audit that may be required by the management

- Conduct routine audits at Mi exclusive stores

- Conduct critical investigative audits, in case required

Desired Skills & Experience

- Must have sound working knowledge of the mobile industry from a distribution and retail perspective

- Has a solid understanding of auditing concepts and techniques to effectively complete audits not under supervision

- Able to consolidate the knowledge obtained to assess the adequacy of the scope of the audit or assessment

- Able to document the audit work which provides the support for observations, conclusions, and the final report.

- Able to work on DMS as well as Distributor local accounting software to extract relevant information

- Willingness to learn and use general audit tools to perform effective audits.

- Proficient in Excel

- Working knowledge of Tally/ any other account software used by Distributors

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Good with numbers
