Job description:
This role will allow the successful candidate to work with primarily unsecured product portfolios across multiple business lines & services (pan India). These will include various lending products for individuals (both salaried & self-employed) as well as small/medium enterprises. Some of these products would be, Unsecured PL (small, medium & large ticket), Line of Credit, BNPL & Business loans.
Key/Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive a risk-centric approach to create innovating products, programs, and infrastructure to improve the user experience and grow the product
- Gather data, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, and apply data-driven business judgment to surface opportunities, prioritize them and design enhancements
- Defining, mapping, documenting and communicating business requirements for designing, building & implementing risk capabilities and systems
- Lead collaboration between engineering, design, risk analytics, data science and user-facing teams to deliver achievable projects. Influence key stakeholders in order to align resources and prioritization
- Based on pre-defined business problems identify & engage with vendors/partners to assess & shortlist potential solutions which would reduce manual touch points without compromising risk based
- Creation of User Stories, managing UAT & ensuring timely delivery of workflows
Skills required:
- 5+ years of product development/ management experience on risk related financial products while working on large scale platforms/infrastructure
- Technical skills e.g., ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems, make meaningful contributions to high-stakes discussions on data modeling or software architecture, etc.
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing.
- Analytical, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with fact-based consultative discipline
- Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and results driven
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization and prioritization skills
- Comfort in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and an ability to navigate ambiguity and balance competing demands
- An analytical and metrics driven work style
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills: It is essential that they can negotiate and influence people towards achieving a predetermined goal
- Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) applications;
- Education: A minimum of Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or BTECH/BE or other quantitative fields is required. However, MBA or a Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative related field may be preferred
