The Operations Lead will provide leadership, management, and strategic vision for our local game operations. The Lead is a visionary thinker and skilled communicator responsible for the local market game operations and day-to-day service delivery of our operation. The Lead will join the Mi Games India team to provide product focus coordination between the India office, HQ and partners. As a creative problem solver, the Lead will partner with the regional functions to identify and develop solutions to key operational constraints and assess future market opportunities. He / She will serve as the lead for all project follow-ups, partner communications, and will present any / all updates to the managing Lead and HQ and is responsible for defining and delivering best-in-class service experience to our users. Responsibilities - Provide strategic leadership in the planning and delivery of game publishing & operations in pace with the growth of the business in India. - Develop and implement programs and initiatives that drive cost effectiveness, efficient operations and improvement to meet current and future business requirements. - Function as the key resource to regional management in planning and decision making. - Prepare and maintain strategic and operating plans to support capacity planning and forecasting requirements. - Provide regional direction in areas of policy and planning for all operating procedures relating to gaming operations. - Provide strategic analysis and recommendations for our strategy in the local market, and provide key information to global teams - Support the managing Lead, as needed across a broad range of project management activities. Maintain project schedules and monitor milestones related to products. - Manage and support of gaming operations in the India region. Ensure proper resources are allocated. - Anticipate, identify, and troubleshoot issues on a proactive basis, and ensure that plans are put in place and executed in order to provide timely resolutions. - Aggressively pursue and drive progress to projects by fearlessly coordinating, communicating, and working effectively with functional organizations in the India and HQ to ensure that issues are given visibility and that support is in place as needed. - Oversee all people management activities for operations including staffing planning, performance management, training and career development. Requirements - A minimum of 12 years- relevant experience (i.e. gaming / publishing / Live operations) with at least 7 of those at management level - Recognized industry leader, executive presence, and strong track record of strategic accomplishments in companies experiencing constant growth and expansion where constant challenges are the norm - Strong leader of people; developer of talent - Possess exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; systematic thinker - Strong sense of urgency is required - Cultural fit is crucial, commitment to excellence and teamwork paramount - Exceptional interpersonal, team building, collaboration, and facilitation skills required - Able to effectively communicate and interact across diverse audiences - Excellent verbal and written communications skills; fluent in English - Expert knowledge of industry best practices for game publishing & operations - International business experience and intercultural communications skills - Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility - Strong analytical and presentational skills - Proven experience managing schedules and employees to achieve desired results - Willing to travel
