Essential Skills:

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in application development in an enterprise setup

- Be responsible for the technical design and experience in guiding/mentoring others.

- Strong OOPS knowledge, including experience with design patterns

- Experience with Java/JEE and open source frameworks/tools like Spring, Maven, Ant, Subversion, Git etc.

- Experience with Junit testing and mocking frameworks like Mockito, PowerMockito.

- Experience to javascript libraries like Angular.js, Backbone.js, jQuery etc.

- Experience to Modern web application frameworks like Play, Node.js, GWT etc.

- Experience to Restful services.

- Experience with web application frameworks like Struts, Spring MVC etc.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum, TDD, Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo etc.

- Should be able to lead a team and take ownership of application design and development

- Excellent analytical aptitude and problem solving skills.

- Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.

Academic Qualification :

- Engineering Degree/Engineering PG in Computer Science from an Institution of high repute in India or abroad. High performer in academics.

Other Desirables :

- Writing white papers, blogging and participation in Java related events and conferences are a definitive plus.

- Experience of working in Agile environments using Scrum/XP

- Individual contributor with excellent analytical skills and ability to think out of box (experience with requirements gathering/engineering are an advantage).

- Customer focused is a definite desirable.

- Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with developers and other stakeholders.
