XD Delivery Manager Role

- Plan, develop, execute & manage activities related to end-to-end delivery management, including solution review, estimates validation, project planning and execution from scoping & requirement validation through UI development, delivery & integration support.

- Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables and highlight any risks, dependencies or issues impacting the successful delivery of the project. Apply knowledge of front end UI technologies, frameworks, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client solution, project or to support other technology delivery teams.

Core Job Responsibilities :

- Manage & Lead a Front End UI Development team of 25-30 members including UX designers and UI developers

- Manage & Drive UI delivery across various client accounts in collaboration with other delivery teams

- Manage & Grow the business/accounts through repeated high-quality UI delivery, consistently over & again

- Ensure well-written high quality, W3C complaint front-end UI development code across various delivery projects

- Apply best-practices and front end coding patterns to ensure UI solutions are maintainable, modular, reusable and repeatable

- Drive quality excellence and ensure responsive UI solutions work well across browsers and devices

- Provide integration support to other delivery teams and drive closure of UI defects within integrated code base

- Demonstrate thought leadership & innovation around UI solutions by exploring & integrating new UI frameworks, productivity tools, automation tools, etc.

- Drive team engagement & enablement by encouraging & driving community activities within your team

Skills & Experience :

- 12+ years of experience in the field of Front End UI Development, which includes designing & developing commercial grade web applications across various platforms

- 4+ years of proven experience in managing and leading the UI delivery for multiple client accounts

- Proficient understanding of various delivery methodologies (particularly Agile Scrum methodology)

- Proficient understanding of version control solutions (particularly TFS, VSO, GIT)

- Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript (some understanding of ASP.Net will be beneficial)

- Proficient understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms (particularly SASS with Compass)

- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (particularly jQuery & AngularJS)

- Proficient understanding of responsive web development frameworks (particularly Bootstrap or Foundation)

- Proficient understanding of task running frameworks (particularly Gulp, Grant, NPM, Bower)

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser ((Chrome, IE, Safari (iPad, iPhone)) compatibility issues and ways to work around them

- Good understanding of UI development best practices for other Microsoft platforms including ASP.Net, MVC, SharePoint, Sitecore, CRM, etc.

- Ability to focus on perfection with an eye for precision and attention to details
