Xchanging is looking to hire an Infrastructure Solution Architect -

- You will be part of Infrastructure Services based out of Bangalore responsible for developing solutions for IT Outsourcing deals across the globe. You will play a pivotal role in creating end to end ITO solution and bring in transformational changes to the delivery of services in the existing and new accounts.

- This role provides enormous exposure in creating solutions for large ITO deals, understanding customer needs and latest technology trends and a truly global experience. The role enables a natural career path of leading solutions, lead business units or taking up future leadership roles in various geographies.

The responsibilities of Solution Architect include but not restricted to

- Architect winning solutions as part of the bid cycle process

- Design and Define overall solution framework for the ITO bid

- Finalize right fit solution based on the customer’s requirement, industry vertical, and customer’s IT landscape

- Strengths in Multiple Technologies such as Data Center, Networks, EUC, technology Architectures etc.

- Viewing an opportunity holistically and recommending Transformational solutions and service improvements

- Finalize and document solutions from individual technology teams

- Work with cross functional teams to develop commercial model

- Work with larger Xchanging teams in creating overall value proposition

- Lead all large opportunity pursuits as single point of contact for the technical solution

- Will play a lead role in presenting solutions to the customer

- Will be accountable for solution design, sizing, commercials

- Ability to paint a transformational end state, roadmap for the customer

- 15 + years’ experience in the IT industry with minimum 10+ Years’ of experience in either end to end system integration of operational infrastructure /operation management of IT operations including Data Center , Network Management , Service Desk , End User Computing , Vendor Management , Service provider management, International vendors coordination . On site experience is preferred not mandatory.

- Entrepreneurial approach and mindset

- Experience working in large global deals and interaction with Advisors such as KPMG

- Flair for pre-sales, customer interaction and fluency in communications is of utmost importance

- Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills.

- Enormous breath of knowledge in various areas including data center, platforms, storage, database, web services, security, service desk, mainframe technologies, ITIL etc

- Should have authority and hold on infrastructure solutions so as to question and challenge solutions proposed by individual practices/SME’s

- Demonstrates a high level of productivity and quality

- Multitasks effectively

- Customer interface skills are very important – communication and business acumen

- Exercises leadership and understands and exhibits teaming abilities

- Exposure to negotiation and contracting process

- Must have handled presales or solution design for large ($ 5 to $ 50 M+) infrastructure opportunities

- Must have experience in managing advisor led deals

- Must have experience in managing/handling commercial structuring, people rebadging and asset transactions in large deals

- Must have worked in the CIO/CTO organization
