Role Summary :

Responsibilities:

Core Functions :

- Finance inbox - processing and maintenance

- Online invoice approval management

- Vendor / Supplier registration and maintenance of master file

- Processing Invoice registration & posting, including batch/bulk upload. Matching of

Debit/Credit notes and payment with accuracy, timeliness and adherence of company guidelines

- Process daily cash and expense claims with adequate checks and control compliance and handle employee's queries

- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records, reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts

- Supplier relationship management, supplier statement reconciliation and handle supplier's queries

- Set invoices up for payment, prepare and process electronic transfers/payments. Liaise with bank for best rates in case of forex transfer and need based technical support

- Proper tracking of Bank accounts and maintain accurate reconciliations of Bank, petty cash and credit cards

- Track expenses and post required accrual & accrual reversal to produce accurate account for month / quarter / year end closing

- Produce monthly expense reports, accounting schedules and assist in month end closing and audits

- Ensure maintaining all documentation for auditing purposes. Identifies gaps in controls and make recommendations for improved controls and financial reporting mechanisms.

- Ensure data control operations including the approval of documents and batch processing control; implement modifications to improve systems or processes participate in the development and testing of new systems and processes.

Qualifications :

- Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA with 7-10 years of purchase ledger (accounts payable)

- Three to five years of experience in accounts payable

- Working experience of ERP (ORACLE ) financial system, specifically AP module
