Role Summary :

- We are seeking a Management Accountant to play an important role in the Finance department with WSP, based out in Noida, India to support operations in the Middle East region. This position provides support in routine Financial & Management bookkeeping, closing and reporting on individual engagement and is responsible for transactional interactions with the various stakeholders, functions, departments in the region. The incumbent will report to Finance & Management reporting lead in India and will closely work with the financial reporting team in the Middle East region.

- The scope includes advance knowledge and hands-on experience on ERP systems and excellent working exposure on the relevant interfaces and reporting tools. This position is also accountable for compliance with adherence to organisation's policies and standards in preparation and production of financial statements and ad-hoc management reports.

Responsibilities: Roles and activities

- Primarily responsible for financial, management and statutory reporting.

- Preparation and production of P&L, Balance sheet and FTEs statements.

- Ensure correct and complete revenue based on MFI statement and reconcile MFIs with books of accounts

- Month-end closing - check and review GLs extracted from ERP, Variance analysis explain RCA of deviation

- Ensure accurate accrual/accrual reversal and accurate cost booking in different GLs in sync with different business units and cost centres

- Review and analysis of Operating margin and EBITDA, DSO, Aged Debt, AWC etc.

- Check and review any deviations from budget/forecast and explain variance

- Upload/ enter and analyze monthly/quarterly financials and other information in Hyperion

- Prepare monthly business packs & dashboards, create review schedules and reconciliations with various slices and dices of financial metrics. Required to work on consolidation of business/s MIS as well.

- Perform ad hoc business and financial analysis continual review of the financial planning and reporting tool and come up with suggestions to improve its efficiency and effectiveness.

- Analyse and comment on the progress of a project with an insight into Cost, Revenue, Profitability, Debtors, WIP etc.

- Participate in Annual operating plan / Budgets and roll over forecast and upload in ERP & Hyperion

- Liaise with Commercial / Centre / Project managers and guide on financial movements

- Work with accounts payable team and depart required understanding for correct and accurate cost booking in correct GL and centres.

Key Competencies / Skills:

Mandatory Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel / PPTs) skills and ERP system Knowledge

- Good in written and oral English communication

- Good in presentation should be capable of to interface with mid/senior management

- Hands on experience in handling MIS and exceptional reporting

Desired Skills :

- Working knowledge of Reporting tools - Hyperion

- Additional Qualification on MIS and IFRS

- Preference for experience in likewise industry (infrastructure/design consultancy)

- Adopt a proactive approach to the duties and responsibilities of the position, to ensure performance outcomes and processes complement our Vision and Values

- Demonstrate a sense of urgency towards the performance outcomes and appreciate the critical role of a management accountant

Qualifications :

- MBA / CA / CWA

- 4-6 Year Plus experience in Fixed Asset and MIS
