Job Title- Websim Researcher

WorldQuant is a quantitative asset management firm founded in 2007 and currently has over 500 employees globally. We develop and deploy systematic financial strategies across a variety of asset classes in global markets, utilizing a proprietary research platform and risk management process.

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):

- Create and develop quantitative financial models on WorldQuant's web based simulation platform (- Websim- )

- Testing new WebSim releases, introducing new datasets and reporting bugs

- Conduct training sessions for websim contestants and consultants

- Prepare training documentation for Websim

- Monitor consultant performance/provide feedback

- Develop tools/scripts for user performance analysis

Job Qualifications:

- Possess or expect a Bachelor's degree or advanced degrees in engineering, science, mathematics, finance or any other related field that is highly analytical and quantitative from a leading university

- Competent in using WebSim, and programming language ( C++/C/Python), knowledge of UNIX would be an added advantage

- Have a research scientist mind-set, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, a selfstarter, etc.

- Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets
