Workday Integration Consultant

We Have a urgent job opening for Workday Integration Consultant for Gurgaon location.

The Workday Integration Consultant will participate in project engagements and have the ability to demonstrate solid approaches on integration development for Workday implementations. He/she will provide subject matter expertise for establishing world-class integration in support of the cloud-based Workday products.

The Workday Integration Consultant will participate in high intensity workshops for problem definition, as-is and to-be process modeling, problem solving, and opportunity analysis, while providing the necessary integration components, to include systems interfaces and data migration elements. Where required, the Workday Integration Consultant will participate in system test, benchmarking and process simulation services. Work could be conducted at either a client site or remote.

Responsibility % of time spent

1 Integration Requirements Definition - Investigate the business and technical requirements for the Workday solution. The consultant will work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities. Client business analysts and architects provide the detailed requirements definitions that the Mercer Workday Integration Consultant uses to design the Workday solution. 25%

2 Web Services Integration Development - Investigate the business and technical requirements for the Workday web services. The consultant will work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities. 25%

3 Integration development using Vendor-provided Integration Tools - Developing the integration between the Workday solution and other client related HR technology solutions 25%

4 Client Workshops - Conducting sessions with client personnel to determine the required aspects of the organization's integrations 10%

5 Application Testing - Must be able to assist clients with the testing of the Workday solution and the corresponding integrations. The testing is driven by the scenarios from the implementation team. Workday limits and features are tested here. 5%

6 Production Support - Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution for a period of time post deployment. 5%

6 Production Rollout - Assist with the rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment - 5%

Education - Experience with full software development life cycle.

- Experience with common integration problems, such as security, data conversion, and various implementation approaches.

- Deep knowledge of XML Schema and XPATH.

- Working knowledge of XSLT (written XSLT transformation and understand XSLT patterns and templates structure)

- Basic developer knowledge of Web Services (understanding of SOAP, WSDL and close relationship to Schema language)

- Data Manipulation using EXCEL

- 2+ years programming experience using an object-oriented language

- Knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll system data structures (any system)

- Experience developing multiple integrations to/from HR/Benefits/Payroll applications

- Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.

- Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.

- Ability to train users in a classroom setting

- Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.

- Passion for customer service.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain a home office for remote work.

Experience - At least 4 years experience in HR Functional or Technical areas with SAP, Peoplesoft or another independent Software Vendor

- At least 1 year experience in Project / Delivery Management

- Workday integration (Studio, EIB, Document Transformation) development experience

- Experience using Eclipse IDE

- Working knowledge of JAVA

- Working knowledge of JSON

- Knowledge of Oauth 2.0

- Knowledge of SAML and SSO implementation concepts

- Ability to understand and explain concepts behind SOA and ESB architectures to non-technical users.

- Experience with integration using Web Service toolkits or platforms (WSDL consumer).

Other Requirements:

While most of our consulting work is performed offsite, consultants must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of their time depending on client needs.
