The Foundation is currently focusing on creating change in areas of Rural Transformation, Health, Education, Sports for Development, Disaster Response, Arts, Culture & Heritage and Urban Renewal. To maximize its reach and improve outcomes, Reliance Foundation has also established strategic partnerships with organizations that have the technical expertise and experience to undertake various programmes in the identified focus areas of operation.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for identifying and designing a portfolio of new programmes to support women empowerment, including initiatives supporting women's economic empowerment, enhancing skilling and livelihood opportunities, addressing the gender digital divide, as well as building leadership capacity for women and girls.

- Developing the implementation and operational strategies for new initiatives, through both direct implementation programmes and/or partnerships, as appropriate.

- Identifying and establishing new partnerships, as required, in collaboration with RF programme leaders.

- Lead management, implementation, launch and delivery of new initiatives (including budget, staffing and timelines for the activities); strategically organizing the work of the project personnel; overseeing and managing deliverables to deadlines, and monitoring and evaluation.

- Work in collaboration with RF programme leaders to provide cross-cutting technical advice and support to embed focused efforts to empower women and girls through all current RF initiatives.

- Work in collaboration with M&E, communications and research teams to share best practice, key learnings, impact and insights from RF initiatives on women empowerment

Qualifications and Experience:

- Post Graduate Degree in any of the fields related to the development sector

- Minimum 15 years of social sector experience, especially technical expertise related to women empowerment programmes

Required Skills:

- Good educational background.

- Self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for his/her projects.

- Team player with leadership skills

- Capable to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills in an international environment.

- Independent, confident and customer-focused mind-set

- Ability to control processes and activities in a result-oriented manner and work effectively to tight deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills in English (verbally and in writing)

Must Have:

- Post Graduate Degree in any of the fields related to the development sector.

- Minimum 15 years of social sector experience, especially technical expertise related to women empowerment programmes

- Experience of implementing large scale development projects

- Thorough knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in one or more areas. Strong communication and influencing skills.
