POSITION SPECIFICATION:

POSITION TITLE : Strategy Consultant (On-Contract)

LOCATION : Gurgaon (From our office) OR Mumbai (Work Remotely)

KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Business Development Leader, WK India

WORK RELATIONSHIPS:

- Global Emerging markets team

POSITION SCOPE:

This is a key strategy consulting role with direct interface to key senior executives within Wolters Kluwer India and global teams.

The Strategy Consultant will assist the Business Development Leader and the India leadership team for in-depth market analysis, developing market strategies for various business and product lines, creating and developing presentations, updates, reporting tools and databases, excel based analysis for presenting to senior leaders globally.

The Strategy Consultant will assist in key decisions and strategies for the India business and assist in gathering intelligence/knowledge of the assigned market(s); acquiring, analyzing, and synthesizing market and business data in order to effectively shape and execute a portfolio strategy for significant organic and in-organic growth and key initiatives.

The Strategy Consultant will support the development of an acquisition roadmap for key market segments, identifying and prioritizing targets and contributing to due diligence process co-ordination as required.

The position reports to the Business Development Leader - India.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- 0-3 years of professional experience in Strategy Consulting Firms/ Investment Banks/Reputed Research firms/ Corporate strategy teams

- Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills requires with high attention to detail and analytical ability

- Fluency in English (Written and Oral) is critical

- Ability to work under tight deadlines, sometimes beyond usual work hours and high commitment

- Ability to work under limited supervision, results oriented, a self-starter and self- motivated

Education: BS Business; Finance, Economics or related; MBA or graduate degree

- The position is a six-month Internship / Contractual

Salary Range: 7- 8 LPA
