Wodehouse Capital Advisors - Senior Associate/Manager - Debt Advisory Practice

We are currently looking for professionals to expand our debt advisory practice. The candidate would be responsible for syndicating the project finance and / or corporate loan transactions from various lenders viz. banks, NBFCs, FIs, IDFs and other institutional investors. This would require working closely with the Project Finance Group, Corporate Banking Group and Small & Medium Enterprise Group of various lenders to structure the transaction so as to meet the client requirements.

Core role:

- Deep understanding of various debt products - long term / project finance loans, corporate loans, LAS, LAP, working capital products, mezzanine / structured products

- Managing the loan arrangement / syndication process with single / multiple lenders - both public and private sector institutions

- Structuring and negotiating terms acceptable to clients

- Preparation of project information memorandum and detailed financial model

- Managing relationships with banks & various FIs and ensuring productive interaction with key officials across hierarchy

- Building and maintaining client relationships

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Post-graduate /MBA/CA/CFA. A consistent Academic background is strongly preferred

- Total Experience of 3-6 years, of which, minimum of 3 years of experience working with banks or advisory firms or NBFCs

- Ability to work independently on various debt and corporate finance engagements with support/ guidance from team leader

- Excellent understanding of financial modelling, writing reports like Information Memorandum and preparing presentations

- Ability to independently interact with clients and deliver on the engagements

- In-depth understanding of debt concepts including terms, covenants, structures, options, documentation, negotiations, market trends, etc

- Ability to communicate effectively and have strong relationship skills

- Strong team player skills and ability to multitask between various deals/ projects

- Self-driven and hard working with willingness to spend long hours and travel
