The principle role of this team is to continually assess and review transition projects, assess improvement needs of the WNS global transition functional unit to drive continuous quality improvement; continuously review and refine processes, plan and execute improvements and present summary findings to the function leadership.
Work Experience:
- At least 10-12 years of experience in a BPM / BPO company
- Demonstrated hands on experience in driving in successfully leading large multi-dimensional transitions
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and innovation measures in the transition function
Qualifications and skills
- Core
- Excellent project management leadership skills applied to wide range and number of project types, complexities, domains, geographies and geographies
- Bachelor's degree (graduate) in any discipline
- Self-starter, independent, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills is a must
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus
- Knowledge and/or experience or certifications in Six Sigma or Green belt / black belt is a plus

Job Responsibilities:
- Identification of improvements / new techniques / methodologies / solutions / tools in the transitions team and upstream / downstream functions by analyzing the day to day working of the transitions team and trends and opportunities in core transition responsibilities. All initiatives should be executed using a rigorous, data based, statistical method
- Development of work aids, such as process descriptions, checklists, templates, and guides to assist relevant personnel with implementing defined processes
- Project reviews: Review historical and active projects to identify systemic improvement, training, risk avoidance and cost reduction measures and lessons
- Resource management: Continuously review and manage deployment and allocation of project management resources to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Training: Assess training needs for individual PMs, develop and implement training road maps
- Collaboration: Work closely with transition managers, transition leaders and functional department heads to ensure effective implementation and follow-up of initiatives
- Reporting: Able to create and review multi-dimensional reporting, gather and project relevant insights
- Documentation: Establishes and documents processes that support the initiative and projects in detail
- Required to manage multiple initiatives / projects concurrently (where applicable)
- Able to take on additional responsibilities in the transition function (e.g. if the need arises, to lead transitions)
