Lead Consultant: Capability and Transformation (Travel and Shipping & Logistics)

Job overview :

The role provides excellent opportunity for highly creative, analytical and solution driven individuals with experience in travel/S&L and technology to build innovative products and solutions to address the needs in travel/S &L industry

- Identify and develop innovative processes and technology solutions to drive business opportunities in travel / S & L

- Help build and capture new market opportunities in travel/ S&L through product developments or partnerships while ensuring strategic value to the business

- Managing all aspects of the projects - identifying, solutioning, developing and execution and ensuring the successful achievement of timelines and budgets

- Analyzing the market for opportunities and the integration potential of the new technology/ projects with business/ client strategies and operations

- Creating various approaches, negotiating and fostering relationships with internal and external partners

- Developing new business approaches and technologies across departments and clients

- Create business cases, make recommendations regarding benefits, financials, risks, contractual requirements and the long-term sustainability of initiatives

- Managing vendor/client relationship, negotiations and contracts

- Complex change management through collaborating and influencing and passionate about the decision taken, in order to get the rest of the team on board

- New product developments in Travel and S &L

- Consulting - within WNS & Clients

Experience and skill :

- Graduate with 15 + years of experience in travel, airline or GDS or S&L technology platforms( MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Travel will be an advantage)

- Through knowledge of GDS and other travel / S &L related technologies

- Prior experience in identifying, solutioning and developing technology solutions in travel/S&L

- Excellent communication and project management skills

- Ability to create powerful presentations, business cases and white papers

- Very resilient and lateral thinking capability

- Strong stake holder and relationship management skills and dealing with senior executives

- Previous experience in leading transformation projects in travel /S &L

- Highly self-motivated, proactive and eager to develop new capabilities in evolving role
