WNS DecisionPoint - Senior Director - Analytics - Capability & Innovation Leader - WNS Global Services

Will lead a team of highly qualified Data Scientists, Business Analysts, UI/UX specialists and Data Engineers to:

a) Conceptualize, design and build differentiated industry specific and x-industry products or productized solutions

b) Define an agenda for how to apply cutting-edge AI/machine learning techniques to solve topical customer business problems across industries

a. Frame business problems into scalable solutions by leveraging the state-of-the-art machine learning and related technologies

c) Manage end to end delivery of data science projects/PoCs including requirement gathering, solution design, commercial construct, algorithm build and deployment

d) Develop new business and grow out existing accounts

e) Drive data science capability augmentation in text/image/video analytics and other newer areas (e.g. IoT analytics)

f) Research, contract, negotiate, and close new partnerships; co-create innovative solutions with partners

g) Bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a strong sense of evangelism, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of go to market priorities, competitive pressures, and client driven initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or in another highly quantitative field

- 15 to 20 years of experience in advanced analytics across multiple industries

- Strong fundamentals in problem solving, algorithm design, complexity analysis, and data visualization

- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Exhibits excellent judgment; sets high standards; thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution;

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with both technical and business people; ability to speak at a level appropriate for the audience.
