Reports To: Vice President - Marketing
Supervises: 10-12 member team consisting of content, social media, SEO, design and e-mail marketing professionals.
Qualification: Graduate + MBA (Marketing)
Years of Experience: 5 years of relevant online marketing exposure with at least 3 years in a team management role.
Role Description:
- The incumbent will be leading the Online Marketing team and executing various marketing initiatives for the WizIQ Saas business.
- He/ She will be primarily responsible for growing WizIQ's SaaS business through lead and demand generation.
Principle Accountabilities:
Planning and Strategizing:
- Develop marketing strategy for WiZiQ SaaS business, with detailed action plan for Inbound, SEO, SEM, Email, Social media, Blog campaigns etc.
- Conduct market research with a view to identify strategic partners, monitor competition space and identify best practices.
- Understand customer profiles/ segments and develop ways to reach-out accordingly.
- Work with product marketing, sales teams in identifying opportunities, building proper marketing messages and executing campaigns.
- Analyze data vis-a-vis marketing initiatives on a routine basis with a view to increase conversion rates and Return On Investment.
Demand Generation:
- Generate quality business/ individual leads and prospects for the SaaS business by managing all aspects of Marketing including Webinars, MooCs, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization etc.
- Ideate and execute on-page and off-page optimization of the WizIQ site for SaaS and Learning Marketplace business (LMP).
- Work with the Content team to ensure a steady production of quality whitepapers and case studies for different customer segments.
- Promote blogs, whitepapers through social media (Facebook, Google+, Twitter) using free and paid campaigns.
- Manage targeted email marketing campaigns/ newsletters for SaaS and LMP.
- Improve social media reach & user engagement by efficiently managing WizIQ’s presence across various Social Media channels
- Optimize paid campaigns and retargeting campaigns on Adroll or Adwords.
- Bring external Educational Service Providers on board to conduct MooCs/ Webinars.
People Management:
- Provide regular evaluation, feedback and training for Online Marketing team.
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed with regards to marketing updates.
Vendor Management:
- Work with external vendors on various projects and manage day-to-day operations/ reporting.
Planning and Reporting:
- Create detailed work plans for campaigns, get buy in from business and execute flawlessly with continuous follow ups, report on status and results.
- Provide daily updates with regards to marketing spend, leads generated, conversion funnels, CPA and other business metrics to reporting manager and business unit heads.
- Generate insightful reports from tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords,Facebook insights, Act-On etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing various marketing channels such as Digital Marketing,(SEO/SEM, Display, Affiliates, Social Media), Direct Marketing (eMail, Direct Mail), online (website) properties, CRM (eg. Zoho), and marketing automation tools (eg. Act-On).
- Must have mastered Facebook marketing, AdRoll, Google Adwords (Search, Display, Retargeting, Youtube), Google Analytics, any marketing automation tools.
- Experience in B2B or e-Commerce, preferably in US or European Market.
- Highly motivated, intellectually curious, self-starter, comfortable with change and a creative individual with a strong record of professional achievement.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Must be flexible and able to balance multiple projects concurrently.
- Candidate must be detail oriented, persistent, and enjoy working in a fast paced, results oriented and evolving environment.
- Exceptional communicator. Must be able to clearly articulate, visualize and present analytical work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expert in advanced analytics techniques coupled with the ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful business insights. Knowledge of test design, predictive modeling, and combining disparate data sources is a plus.
- Expert in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
