Title: Marketing Manager

Description:

We are looking for a marketing manager who is a self-starter, who challenges convention, and is able to perform in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision.

This role has two primary areas of responsibility:

- Lead our digital and social media strategy and execution. You will develop an overall social communication calendar, create content in conjunction with our lead designer, and grow & engage our social media followers in conversations online.

- Execute marketing initiatives across the company, ranging from short tests on communication to long term strategic programs around monetization.

Our ideal candidate blends creative thinking with rigorous analysis and believes you can only manage what you can measure. Strong communication skills, especially in social media management & content development along with meticulous project management capabilities are essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Branding - Shape the voice and visual presentation of our brand. Create and evolve our voice and tone guidelines to make it easier for customers to understand us.

- Marketing Collateral - Work with team to develop promotional materials and content such as product and channel-specific brochures, website copy, product sales sheets, and more.

- Sales Support - Work with sales and product teams to help develop and manage targeted marketing and sales materials, presentations, and related collateral.

Email Marketing:

- Manage all email campaigns, including template design, copy writing, calls-to-action, segmentation, and scheduling.

- Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).

- Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into started applications.

- Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends.

- Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.

- Social Media Management - our target audience is new to social media, and we need to get them familiar with it and use this channel to compel them to make more and better use of our solution.

Content Management :

- Manage and help execute marketing content for lead generation / nurturing initiatives, including white papers, e-books, info guides, informative checklists, etc.

- Assist in copywriting - feature descriptions, emails, blog posts, web pages, video scripts, job postings and much more. Our copy must be clear and add meaning and emotion to plain and sometimes complex features.

- Event Support - We don- t do a lot of industry events, but when we do we need to make the most of them. Messaging, design, setup and support are all part of a successful event, and we need to do all of this very well.

Desired skills and experience:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. An MBA is preferred.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in a marketing position.

- Previous experience with the cloud/startup world is a very big plus.

- Excellent project management, writing and copy editing skills.

- Ability to develop creative content for all social media.

- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities under tight timelines.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Solid understanding of digital marketing, lead generation and nurturing, and marketing automation programs.

- Must have excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and Hubspot
