Wipro Technologies - Practice Manager - Application Management Services

Wipro seeks an experienced executive for the position of Practice Manager for its Application Management Services team.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with BU leaders (delivery, technology and domain leadership) to proactively mine opportunities for modernization

- Build plan for the practice and lead the business development, opportunity development and proposal efforts

- Leading and ensuring the overall delivery of projects in this domain

- Creating a strong WIPRO Market Positioning - increasing Wipro's mindshare in the ecosystem

- Craft new business opportunities & New business wins (revenue and Order Value)

- Defining & supporting a strong Competency capability building strategy

- Good understanding of mainframe technologies

- Good understanding of modernization drivers, approaches and solutions

- Architect possible solution options based on specific needs

- Good understanding of database technologies.

- Should have strong inclination to learn new technology trends - specifically cloud, Open source and micro services

- Understanding and ability to develop estimation models based on specific opportunity needs

- Data Migration experience - experience in using any tools for migration

- Leadership & Interpersonal skills: Ability to drive & lead the strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams & achieve results

- Thought Leadership: Ability to converse with industry leaders, analysts and formulate POV on trends and proactively propose solutions, investment decisions, etc.
