Presales Solution Architect

Cloud Partner is a senior architect persona that drives high priority customer initiatives on cloud in collaboration with Wipro customers and our on/offshore teams. They will support geo based cloud partners and work with different service lines subject matter experts to bring in the best of class solutions. The role will also be required to present the solution, mapped to business objectives, to both internal and also customer facing scenarios. This role requires heavy consulting skills and may require travel.

The ideal candidate will have successful experience in leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions and in customer facing roles with senior C-Suite and technical executives driving cloud portfolios.

We are seeking individuals with senior level architecture and/or development skills, with overall 10+ years of IT industry experience, and at least 2+ years of working experience with a major cloud platform.

Our successful candidate will include those with the following background:

- Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends;

- 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, extensibility, security, etc.)

- 2+ years of experience in net-new or migration of on-premises solution to the cloud

- Should be able to participate in deep architectural discussions with customers to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

- Designing application architectures optimized for technical, security, and business needs for the selected apps/workloads and executing POCs

- Presentation and/or speaking skills. Should be able to evangelize cloud deployment and operations stories through presentations and the creation of content such as reference architectures, white papers, blog posts, etc.

- Development experience in PaaS and/or cloud native technologies
