Wipro Limited - Assistant Manager - Data Privacy

Risk Assessments:

- Conducting data privacy impact assessments as and when required.

- Investigation of critical privacy & security incidents, establishing root cause and identifying the appropriate corrective and preventive actions required to prevent recurrence.

- Work closely with business support functions (Talent Acquisition, GIMS, Wividus, Travel & Hospitality, HR etc.) in establishing the personal flow mapping within and outside of Wipro and finalizing the Personal Data Inventories for these functions and ensure these data inventories are kept current at all times.

- Liaising with internal legal team/ other functional groups such as HR, Application Management Group, Immigration etc. to implement and maintain appropriate data privacy controls for business processes and IT systems within Wipro that are involved in processing personal data / PII.

Audits and other reviews:

- Performing DP controls reviews for customer support operations (Delivery teams).

- Anchoring customer audits, due diligence exercises for data privacy.

- Evaluate vendors from a privacy risk perspective at the time of RFP and contract negotiations.

Pre-sales Support:

- Providing support to the presales team in solution designing by translating customer requirements into the desired Data protection compliance posture.

- Assist in reviewing of contracts and participate in contract-negotiation with potential and existing customers, providing contextual responses to RFIs, RFPs for matters relating to data privacy.

Ideal candidate:

- B2 - B3 band with at-least 3 years in Wipro (preference is for those candidates with working knowledge in information security concepts)

- Any experience of having implemented security and data protection solution for customer (solution, preparation of BRD, unit testing User acceptance testing, post implementation review of solution etc.) will be desirable

- Candidate must be a fast learner and self-starter.

- Must have the ability to gain quick insights into business and technological problems and provide solutions
