Supply Chain Planning Lead

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will include :

Growth :

- Defining a sound planning business growth strategy built on domain strengths. Focus on growing the planning domain competency with higher billing rates and margins.

- Help in creating new business opportunities & new business wins (revenue and Order Value)

Competency Development :

- Define & support a strong planning core competency capability building strategy.

- Leverage comprehensive training as the enabling environment for aspiring internal and lateral consultants.

- Manage a diverse team of geographically distributed planning consulting professionals across different experience levels, including their goals & objectives, mentoring, career planning etc. apart from project level billing, utilizations and allocations.

Partnerships :

- Nurture key partnerships based on product/service capabilities, future road maps and alignment with our client needs, with the objective of building knowledge and networks e.g. Product Companies, practitioner forums, logistics industry networks etc.

Branding :

- Creating a strong Wipro Market Positioning based on differentiated planning capabilities - increasing Wipro's mindshare in the CG ecosystem (product companies, analysts)

Qualifications Required :

- Minimum 10 years of end to end supply chain planning experience in Consumer Goods (CG) / retail industry and / or as a consultant to the industry in the distribution space

- Experience and or exposure to Merchandizing planning, strongly preferred

- Must have experience and good understanding of CG / retail planning context

- Experience in a Tier 1 CG/Retail-specific consulting firm as a Principal, Associate Partner, Partner or similar level

- Domain expertise in extended supply chain, and specifically in overall distribution including distributed order management and direct to consumer space

- Experience in working in a matrix environment and working collaboratively with service lines

- Knowledge of key and niche planning solutions (Logility, i2, island pacific and others)

- Ability to directly interact and deliver consulting projects at CxO level

- Delivery and sales experience in a consulting and/or Global IT Services organization

Other qualifications for differentiation :

- Global perspective and knowledge of business and technology trends in supply chain planning

- Broad planning experience base to include process consulting, implementation, testing and support

- Expected to drive a minimum of $2-4mm in Order Booked in 1st twelve months
