Lead Domain Consultant - Broadcasting, Media and Entertainment


- The role holder own revenue and headcount targets for Media domain practice capability in Broadcast, Entertainment and Sports segment as well as overall Wipro consulting footprint in the segment. Role holder will also anchor (from a functional perspective) client pursuits, new engagements and engagements with existing clients, help design industry specific offerings to our clients, and support the expansion of Consulting Business.


Experience Required -


- 15+ years of experience in broadcast, entertainment and sports industry segments, with deep exposure to IT side of the business


- In depth understanding of key challenges faced by the industry, exposure to digital transformation projects in the industry. Any success stories will be an added plus.


- Good understanding people, process and systems across content creation / ingest / aggregation, content management, content distribution, workflow, rights and royalties. Expertise in one of the following 3 segments


Broadcast management


- Movie studios or Music labels with end to end content lifecycle exposure


- Sports and esports operations, gaming platforms, casino operations


- Experience in creating process assets - e.g. for broadcast - documentation on air chain workflows, broadcast datacenter process, ad inventory / pricing / slotting.


- Experience in video OTT and projects done with or for top broadcasters, cable/satellite providers, sports bodies etc is a plus.


Core responsibilities will include :


- Collaboration with clients to enable their long-term vision, goals and strategy by aiding in development of digital solutions and enabling consulting engagements for Wipro in the space.


- Anchoring in incremental innovations and proactive proposals


- Working with stakeholders in sales, pre-sales, HR to increase consulting footprint in the industry segment


- Building consulting teams, deployment and meeting revenue targets
