Role : Digital Architect - India and Middle East Markets

Responsibilities :

Chief Architects and Senior Digital Architects operating within Wipro's Digital business unit (for India and Middle East markets) leading Digital Architecture across all verticals. The role will include the following responsibilities :

- Work within a highly focused, dynamic and agile business unit that centres its principles and deliverables on the customer

- Support new and start-up engagements working with the wider Digital Team providing hands on strategic direction setting, architecture design, and support the build out/hire of new teams in key accounts and geographies

- Lead architecture engagements and major transformation execution through execution phases and where applicable drive internal, client and third party vendor mixed teams

- Engage clients with varying degrees of maturity at the CxO level to lead innovation and the development of strategy

- Support clients (C-Level & Heads Of) in the establishment of digital architecture functions and architecture operating/governance models

- The role is to develop and establish oneself as an industry and Wipro Digital thought leader in next generation architecture fields and open source technologies

- Understand, define and capture the architecture of clients and identify opportunities for transformation

- Lead architecture engagements and where applicable drive internal, client and third party vendor mixed teams in program execution

- Define how Wipro's Digital and other propositions can be implemented within the client architecture

Skills and Experience :

- Candidates will be architecture specialists, but with broad practical experience in programmeand service delivery

- Strong Digital & Enterprise Architecture skills, including business architecture, application architecture, software technology architecture, information architecture, infrastructure architecture and security architecture

- Should have experience in defining digital strategy and transformation - must have experience of large business critical transactional processing systems

- Should possess strong Industry Domain knowledge in Banking & Insurance - (Omni-channel architecture Mobile Banking, Micro-services Architecture, SOA, ESB, Payments & Wallets Business Process Management (BPM), Business Rules Management (BRM) Analytics & Big Data

- Should have breadth across and depth in one or two of the enabling technologies like Analytics and BI, Big Data, Cloud, Mobility, Social, Automation, Enterprise Portals, Enterprise Content Management, SOA and Integration - experience in UX and Design Thinking would be a plus

- Good understanding of emerging technologies like Cognitive, AI/Deep Learning, IoT/E and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality

- Significant experience in Digital Channels, Omni-channel, eco-systems and integrated back-end systems

- Should have experience in Open source and vendor stacks/solutions

- Should have experience and familiarity with Agile design concepts, DevOps, Continuous Integration

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

- Excellent team building, leadership and interpersonal skills

- Programme delivery leadership and experience

- Operations or Service Delivery experience

- Led product development and/or influenced vendor product or strategy

- Ideally has hands-on experience in either development, ops, or support role

- Ideally a mix of experience in clients and experience in vendor / service companies / consultancies

- Ideally established industry presence - including publications and conference engagements

Experience & Likely Background / Current Roles :

With 18+ years of overall experience and 8-10 years of experience in the roles mentioned below :

- Chief Architects / Heads of Architecture in large companies

- Senior Product Leads / Chief Architects in vendor organizations

- CTOs in medium sized companies or start-up

- Practice heads in digital /next generation architecture functions within consultancy/boutique digital related firms
