Delivery Head cum Engagement Manager We are looking for a India Delivery Head &amp; Engagement Manager for a large Hi-Tech Account in Tech BU. This role entails working closely with the delivery managers to strengthen the capabilities across our ODCs at Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai as well as to build deep engagement value with the client teams based out of their India offices. If you have the passion to work with people across levels, ability to connect the dots to see the big picture and strong execution focus driven by attention to details, you are the one we are looking out for and would be happy to have a conversation with you.&nbsp;Responsibilities : - Drive delivery excellence for Application Development / Testing projects in agile, continuous integration and other new age delivery models primarily across engineering and SAP technologies. - Lead the offshore team (~1000 FTEs) - provide a vision and establish people practices that create team identity, talent development and a positive culture. - Offshore growth - Make offshoring attractive, build strategic leverage with customer teams in India to drive higher growth for Wipro as against the competition. Build value based relationships with them and host sr. client executives visiting India. - Competency development - Continuous intake of fresh talent, imparting academic &amp; hands on training and positioning them in billable roles across existing engagements resulting in experienced talent becoming available for other newer opportunities. Also cross-skilling and up-skilling experienced team members to continuously strengthen talent pool. - Driving commercial efficiencies - Ensuring optimal deployment of resources, minimize wasteful expenditure, at the same time making important investments &amp; being able to quantify return on these investments, creating fiscal awareness across delivery teams. - Operational excellence - Being able to maximize fulfilment capabilities at offshore, ownership of internal &amp; customer facing delivery processes to create accountability, compliance &amp; common visibility across stakeholders, development &amp; maintenance of physical infrastructure (moveable and in-moveable). - Understands one or more domains (preferably technology but not necessary) and can appreciate customer's scenario - Conversant with emerging technology trends and deeper understanding of at least one or two current application development technology areas - Deep understanding of IT services delivery management concepts - particularly in application development and support. - Awareness of global industry trends and directions and its impact on IT services - Financial acumen - understand P&amp;L concepts in the context of IT services delivery - People management skills - natural change leader - Executive presence - ability to partner with client CXOs Experience : - Large Project management / Program management - Onsite experience in a client facing role - Handling teams in multiple Geos. - Solutioning, experience of leading multiple development Wipro is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and makes all employment and employment-related decisions without regard to a person's race, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by applicable law The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
