Regional Manager Sales, Wipro C&I, Bangalore

Wipro Consumer Cares Commercial and Industrial Lighting division is looking for Regional Sales Head to be based out of Bangalore.

The Incumbent must have a proven track record of managing a large sales territory in a B2B Set up along with a large team. Will handle the sales territory of Karnataka and will be responsible for achievement of revenue targets in the assigned area.

Qualifications : B Tech Electrical (preferred) + MBA

Preferred Industries Lighting, Elevators, HVAC, Glass, Bathroom fixtures, Paints.

Closely associated with B2B sales of building material industry may apply.

Experience : 14+ Years of Experience in a B2B Sales Set up with a clear exposure to channel sales. Must have handled large teams of capable sales people.

Job Responsibility:

People Management:

- Leading & Managing a cross-functional team. To keep the team charged and motivated.

- Performance Management - To drive the team to achieve team goals & monitoring performance of team members

- Develop and manage an effective channel.

- Achieve business plan for the specified area of operation / customer markets

- Process flow & implementation to improve effectiveness of the team

- Ensuring market development

- Formulating & implementing promotional plan for defined area of operation

- Networking & building relations with key specifiers and customer of this Area

- Mapping and evaluating - Lead Generation & conversion for his team members and his area of operation

- Drive customer acquisition & Large deals

- Monitoring & complying to the working capital norms of the business

Skill & Competency Requirements:

- Should be a team player and comfortable working in teams

- Achievement orientation is must.

- Good leadership skills.

- Strong on planning & organising skills

- Good communication & presentation skills are must.

- Should be persuasive and high on initiative.

- He should posses good problem solving skills

- Should be strong on networking skills & also on analytical skills

- Should be able to handle pressure situations well
